Go Wild in the Woods with EKO offers adventure, challenges, creativity, teamwork and loads of fun outdoors. The day can be themed to direct curriculum links such as Stone Age, Viking, Egyptians or carry the learning under a more general theme of Survival, Adventure or Desert Island. We will decide the final details of the day in conjunction with the school but the outdoor bushcraft elements and EKO’s approach to outdoor learning will always flow through the theme of the day.

The day takes place off the school site in woodland areas and children will need to bring their own weather appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear and possibly a packed lunch. The children have the opportunity to work on independent, creative projects; to work in teams to find solutions and share knowledge; to try new things and to discover new facts, about themselves, their friends and their natural world.

It is a fun-filled, active, challenging, outdoor day that every child remembers and every child enjoys. The days are usually run with schools but EKO could run something similar for a group of home schoolers or a group of families. Get in touch with us for costings if you’re interested.

We hope to see your child in the woods very soon.
