Bespoke In-School EKO Days are planned, resourced, risk assessed and led by an EKO leader with the support of the class teacher and/or TA. We plan the day around the requested theme or topic in order to support the learning going on in the classroom.

The day will always include toasting marshmallows over the fire and making the most of the season, whatever the weather.

The day could focus on:

  • Traditional tales and children’s books such as, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Stickman, The Gruffalo, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Goldilocks and the Three Bears etc
  • History topics, such as the Stone Age, Romans and Celts, The Great Fire of London etc
  • Team building based bushcraft and survival skills

All children need to provide their own weather appropriate, waterproof clothing and footwear but we are happy to bring a few spares if required.

From £300 per day, the cost will vary depending on number of pupils attending and the activities required.
