EKO is always looking for new outdoor learning leaders to join our team of Outdoor Learning Leaders.

If you have relevant qualifications and experience in outdoor learning and have the confidence and ability to plan, resource, risk assess and lead sessions with groups of up to 16 children with only a voluntary parent helper to support you then please get in touch.

As well as bushcraft/forest school skills we also require you to have the skills to command respect from the pupils, to manage behaviour and to inspire and engage children effectively. Safety is our highest priority but a fun and effective outdoor learning session is a very close second.

First, we will observe you at one of your current settings and then we will ask you to observe an EKO session. You will need an up-to-date DBS certificate, an outdoor paediatric first aid qualification and a passion for outdoor learning. If you have your own public liability insurance upto £5 million that’s great. If not, we can add you onto EKOs.

Please email info@ekolearning.org.uk your CV and covering letter to us. We look forward to hearing from you.
